Ralph the Michigan Monster and his cousin Nessie of Loch Ness don't get to see each other as often as they'd like. It's Ralph who makes the trek from Michigan to Scotland in order to spend a little quality time with Nessie. They have a good time swimming and reminiscing until the two monsters spy a Viking ship making its way to the Scottish coastline where a small village will fall prey to the pillaging of the dragon-shipped marauders. Doing what they do best, Ralph and Nessie enlist the help of Nessie's friend Angus the Owl in order to make a plan to beat the Vikings at their own game and ultimately prove that there's a lot more to monsters than one might think---and that Ralph and Nessie have a lot of heart.
