This look at the life of Jesus explores the theory of his life as a
married man to wife Mary Magdalene, the three-year conspiracy to
murder Him, His true message, the true horrors of His crucifixion,
and the glories of His resurrection.
One of the least well-researched aspects of the teaching of Jesus
found in the gospels is the use of proverbs, or aphorisms. Whilst
the parables of Jesus have drawn great interest and study, this
other kind of saying has been relatively neglected, although it is
equally if not more prominent in the gospel-tradition. The present
study is an attempt to show how these proverbial or aphoristic
sayings played an important role in the early formulation of the
sayings of Jesus by the church. Small collections of aphoristic
sayings can be detected in the sayings tradition known as 'Q'.
These collections reveal markedly similar structures and concepts,
which lead one to suspect that they have been compiled by a unique
group which had a particular interest in 'wisdom'. These findings
are then tested by analysing other aphoristic sayings outside the
collections and by relating the results to other studies which have
approached the question of 'wisdom' in the Jesus-tradition from
other angles.

The Doctor (Patrick Troughton), Jamie and Zoe arrive on the
peaceful planet Dulcis for a holiday, only to find it invaded by
the cruel Dominators and their vicious robot servitors, the Quarks.
They must convince the placid Dulcians of the threat their world
faces before the Dominators enslave them and destroy their world.
Another adventure for the third incarnation of the famous timelord.
The action this time takes place on Earth, with the Doctor (Jon
Pertwee) coming up against all kinds of opposition within the
British space program when he attempts to investigate some
mysterious messages travelling to and from the returning spaceship
Mars Probe 7. When the ship's astronauts arrive back home,
suspicious circumstances prevent the Doctor from speaking to them,
which only makes him more determined to get to the bottom of the
matter.

Now that Tim Buck has been promoted out of the spy agency's
cafeteria and left his hair net behind, he finds himself trying to
prevent a disaster of Biblical proportions. A maniacal dentist from
Idaho, Tim's mother, the clone of Tim's dead wife and a group of
semi-deadly assassins are after the legendary stones that King
David used to kill the giant, Goliath. Can Tim Buck overcome his
distrust of women, his regrets about dropping out of the high
school marching band, his clinical depression and a wealth of other
assorted personal issues in time to save the world? If not, then
the planet will be on the brink of catastrophe and Tim will be
demoted back to the fryers.

Classic documentary drama based on Walter Lord's book about the
sinking of the Titanic in 1912. Told from the perspective of Second
Officer Charles Lightoller (Kenneth More), the story follows the
supposedly 'unsinkable' ship as she embarks on her maiden voyage
and ultimately founders in the North Atlantic Ocean. The ship
leaves port and soon Captain Smith (Laurence Naismith) is given
several ice warnings but decides not to decrease the Titanic's
speed. When the ship hits an iceberg late at night on April 14th
the situation looks bleak, especially with the realisation that
there are not enough lifeboats to carry all on board. The Titanic's
distress call is received by the Carpathia but she is four hours
away and unlikely to reach the ship before it sinks. Chaos breaks
out both above and below deck as the passengers and crew race
against time for their survival.
