The Internship (2013)
Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson star as two former salesmen who, never having managed to come to grips with the digital age, are left high and dry when their employer suddenly decides to call it a day. The Watch (2012)
Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill and Richard Ayoade star as a group of friends who form a neighbourhood watch group. While Evan Trautwig, a newcomer to the suburban neighbourhood, may have a legitimate reason for forming a crime watch group following the recent murder of a friend, it is clear that for most of the men ulterior motives are at work. Indeed, Bob Finnerty seems to spend a lot more time examining the dating habits of his daughter, Chelsea, than he does looking for threats. However, when the men stumble across what appears to be an alien plan to destroy humankind, they understand where their responsibilities lie and set out to counter the threat.

First time director Antonio Campos's downbeat tale of teenage alienation in which a public school pupil confronts death in the digital age. High school loner Robert (Ezra Miller) spends his spare time surfing the net for hardcore pornography and random clips of unrelated items that appeal to him. Given a digital video camera to record footage for an audiovisual class, Robert happens to be present when two popular girl students accidentally die from a drugs overdose. With the school in mourning, Robert is given the job of producing the school's official memorial video. But as he becomes immersed in his task, he soon finds himself becoming even more alienated from those around him.

Romantic comedy starring Kate Hudson and Gael Garcia Bernal. Marley Corbett (Hudson) is a dying woman with a big fear of falling in love. Soon after being diagnosed with cancer, Marley meets her match in Julian (Bernal) and finds the prospect of losing romantic control much more frightening than death itself. The film co-stars Kathy Bates as Marley's mother and Whoopi Goldberg as God.

Critically acclaimed biopic based on a true story. James J. Braddock (Russell Crowe), dubbed 'Cinderella Man', was a once-promising light heavyweight who suffered a string of losses in the ring and broke his right hand. With one good hand, Braddock was forced to labour on the docks of Hoboken, while only his manager (Paul Giamatti) still believed in him, finding fights for Braddock to help support his wife (Renee Zellweger) and children. One of the sport's oddest couples, the diminutive, loquacious manager and the burly quiet boxer start to stage an impossible comeback. In the span of less than twelve months Braddock gets his shot at heavyweight champion Max Baer (Craig Bierko), renowned for having allegedly killed two men in the ring. As a 10-1 underdog, Braddock carries the hopes and dreams of the desperate Depression-era working class on his shoulders.

James Ponsoldt's directorial debut stars Nick Nolte as Ray Cooke, a disheveled, grumpy high school baseball umpire who forms an unlikely friendship with troubled teenager Dave Tibbel (Trevor Morgan). As the two grow increasingly dependent on each other, Ray asks Dave to go with him to his 40th high school reunion and pretend to be his son - a benevolent act of deception that ends up revealing unexpected dimensions in each of the two men.

Gil Kenan directs this remake of the 1982 film of the same name. When the Bowen family move into their new suburban home they quickly realise something is not quite right when their youngest daughter Madison (Kennedi Clements) starts communicating with people or things that are not really there. When Madison disappears without a trace, her mother and father (Rosemarie DeWitt and Sam Rockwell) consult an exorcist who informs them that the house was built on an old cemetery and the buried spirits are prepared to go to extreme lengths to drive out their new neighbours. The cast also includes Jared Harris, Susan Heyward and Jane Adams.

Lynn Shelton directs this low-key British drama telling the story of three unhappy people brought together in a remote cottage. Over a year after the death of his brother, Tom, Jack (Mark Duplass) is still in emotional turmoil. His best friend, Iris (Emily Blunt), suggests that he make use of her family's secluded holiday home to get away from it all and gather his thoughts. However, Jack arrives to find the house already occupied by Iris's half-sister, Hannah (Rosemarie DeWitt), who has come to recover from the breakdown of a long-term relationship. When Iris unexpectedly joins them the following morning, it soon becomes clear that all three have their reasons for hiding away from the world. As their relationships deepen and intertwine over the coming days, all three come to learn a lot about themselves and each other.
