Faith without vision would just implode and self-destruct ...but
when faith catches vision, it will simply have to EXPLODE Sure it
will explode; it will have no choice Ha... ha... ha... ...if we are
talking about a kind of faith that is similar to that which God
exercises ...and especially when we start talking and thinking in
terms of the very faith of God Himself That faith of God generates
God's energy, and God's limitless creative ability It is that very
explosive element that very faith of God that I desire us to talk
about and consider in this book together I want us to measure
together, not merely our vision for ourselves and for our ministry
...but God's vision for our lives and for our ministry right here
in 2014 and then in 2015 and beyond I thank God that we no longer
need to allow ourselves to be intimidated by anything that the
future holds for natural man ...because, we are not mere men
Hallelujah We are so much more I thank God that we have the
privilege to discover the vision of ourselves that God's Word
inspires This book is part of the series: Helping the believer to
fully appropriate truth
"Therefore strengthen the weak hands, and make strong the feeble
knees, Say to those who are fearful hearted, 'Be strong, do not
fear Enlarge the place of your tent, ...stretch out the curtains of
your habitations. Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, and strengthen
your stakes For you shall expand to the right and to the left, and
your descendants will inherit the nations, and make the desolate
cities inhabited. Do not fear for you will no longer be ashamed;
nor be disgraced any more, for you will not be put to shame (You
will not become weak and fail); For you will forget the shame of
your youth (your immaturity), ...and will not remember that
reproach anymore..." - Isaiah 35:3 & 4, and Isaiah 54:2-4
Righteousness is the most misunderstood subject in the Bible, and
that confusion, because of inaccurate truth and incorrect
assumptions and conclusions, is one of the biggest reasons why so
many Christians are still in bondage. I grew up, like countless
others, associating righteousness with good works, ...but did you
know that not one of your good works could ever make you righteous?
In John 14-17 Jesus was not talking about mansions in Heaven, but
about Righteousness when He said: "I go to prepare a place for
you."
Man's first experience, when he awoke in creation, was the
overwhelming display of God's love ...God's very favor and
adoration God is love ...and this love could only rest ...in an
encounter ...with a being of the same kind and likeness God can
only find His rest in a being of the same image and likeness as
Himself ...a being with the same love as His ...a love of the same
kind as His own. Love can only find its rest in love Love can only
be satisfied by love Love desires someone else to love ...and love
needs a response of the exact same kind and quality God, in His
creation of mankind, designed a being with whom He could share
equality In His creation of mankind, God desired and designed a
being upon whom He could lavish His love He desired a response of
the same quality and kind in that being, called man See, man alone
can appreciate and respond to God's love on a level of worship. The
desire in man to worship God was birthed by that first encounter
and experience of God's adoration in the garden. To reflect back in
love the adoration He gives is the only appropriate response to His
love 1John 4:19, "We love Him because He first loved us."
"I give thanks, always, for you, because of the grace of God which
was given you in Christ Jesus ...so that, in every way, you were
enriched in Him ...with all speech and all knowledge ...even as the
testimony of Christ was confirmed among you, and within you ...so
that, you are not lacking in any spiritual gift, as you wait for
the revealing of (...as you intertwine yourself with the revelation
of) our Lord Jesus Christ, who will then also sustain you to the
end, guiltless, in the day of (...in the light of; in the
revelation truth of) our Lord Jesus Christ " Listen, God remains
committed to you, because of what He knows to be the eternal truth
about you Even if no one believes that truth as it is revealed in
the Gospel, God believes it I say again, even if every single
person on the face of the earth refuse to believe the implications
of what God accomplished for them in Christ, in the work of
redemption, God remains persuaded about it, He cannot deny Himself
