A collection of live recordings of operas by Giuseppe Verdi, filmed at theatres in Liege, Palermo and Venice, and at the historical fortress of Tsaverets in Bulgaria. The operas featured are: 'Attilla', 'Luisa Miller', 'Il Travotore', 'La Traviata', 'Simon Boccanegra' and 'Falstaff'. The soloists featured include Orlin Anastasov, Ventsalav Anastasov, Darina Takova, Cinzia Forte, and Ruggero Raimondi.

Giacomo Puccini's opera in three acts, set in Rome at the beginning of the 19th century, performed at the 2003/4 Teatro Real season. In Rome, 1800, former consul Cesare Angelotti seeks refuge with the painter Cavaradossi in the Attavanti chapel. Cavaradossi's lover Tosca (Daniela Dessì), however, believes that he has another woman, and betrays him and Angelotti to Baron Scarpia, the chief of police.

Frédéric Chaslin conducts the Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana in this production of Offenbach's opera, recorded live at the Arena Sferisterio in 2005. Performers include Ruggero Raimondi, Vincenzo La Scola and Désirée Rancatore.
