This book systematically summarizes the accuracy, precision, and
repeatability levels of field-based tests applied in soccer. It
considers such details as the effectiveness of tests for different
age categories and sexes. In this book, the readers will be able to
check all the field-based tests conceived for fitness assessment in
soccer through a large systematic review made to the literature. In
addition a brief characterization of each test and presentation of
the concurrent validity and repeatability levels for each test will
be provided. Finally, the book contains a general discussion of the
implications of the tests for different methodological approaches
to training. It will be use to sports scientists and practitioners.
This work relates to the application of Artificial Intelligence to
tool wear monitoring. The main objective is to develop an
intelligent condition monitoring system able to detect when a
cutting tool is worn out. It is used a combined Expert System and
Neural Network able to process data coming from external sensors
and combine this with information from the knowledge base and
thereafter estimate the wear state of the tool. The novelty of this
work is mainly associated with the configuration of the proposed
system. With the combination of sensor-based information and
inference rules, the result is an on-line system that can learn
from experience and can update the knowledge base pertaining to
information associated with different cutting conditions. Two
neural networks resolve the problem of interpreting the complex
sensor inputs while the Expert System, keeping track of previous
success, estimates which of the two neural networks is more
reliable. In this study an on-line tool wear monitoring system for
turning processes has been developed which can reliably estimate
the tool wear under common workshop conditions.
El presente trabajo tiene como proposito la generacion de una
propuesta formativa complementaria, en el area de Agroecologia,
apoyada en tecnologia de informacion con la plataforma Chamilo y
basada en modelos de entornos de aprendizaje constructivistas. Se
realiza sobre la base de la experiencia de los autores como
formadores del Programa Todas las Manos a la Siembra (PTMS), el
cual es un programa estrategico nacional generado en Venezuela para
avanzar en la transformacion del modelo de agroproduccion
agrotoxica hacia el modelo agroecologico. La propuesta formativa
surge del diagnostico obtenido de las necesidades de formacion
teorico/practicas de los docentes de educacion basica y se presenta
como una alternativa que complementa la formacion presencial, para
la adquisicion de destrezas en la planificacion de los proyectos
socioproductivos en el aula. Por lo que se constituye en un aporte
significativo para la facilitacion en agroecologia a nivel
nacional."
