The original buddy cop duo and one of the most iconic film series of all time explodes onto Blu-Ray in an action-packed line-up featuring all four films plus a muscle-bulging 5th disc offering an exciting collection of extra content.
Lethal Weapon (1987)
Roger Murtaugh (Danny Glover) is a family man cop who is about to turn fifty. Cautious by nature, he is less than happy to be paired with hothead Martin Riggs (Mel Gibson) when he is assigned to investigate Californian drug baron 'The General' (Mitchell Ryan). Following the death of his wife, Riggs has become a manic loner who no longer cares whether he lives or dies - an approach which causes more than a few problems as he and Murtaugh attempt to bring the General to justice.
Lethal Weapon 2 (1989)
Riggs (Gibson) and his partner Murtaugh (Glover) once again tackle the evils of drug smuggling, this time coming up against a South African syndicate whose kingpins are protected by diplomatic immunity.
Lethal Weapon 3 (1992)
Detectives Murtaugh (Glover) and Riggs (Gibson) are both demoted after triggering a car bomb in a multi-storey car park, but they are soon reinstated after uncovering a network - run by an ex-cop - which is smuggling weapons out of a police ammunition dump.
Lethal Weapon 4 (1998)
Mismatched cops Riggs (Gibson) and Murtaugh (Glover) team up for a fourth time to foil an immigrant smuggling racket, run by a ruthless Asian Triad leader (Jet Li). Joe Pesci also returns as Leo Getz, the cops' cowardly informant whilst Rene Russo lightens the boys with toys atmosphere as risk-taking detective Lorna Cole.

Lou Bloom, a driven young man desperate for work, discovers the high-speed world of L.A. crime journalism.
Finding a group of freelance camera crews who film crashes, fires, murder and other mayhem, Lou muscles into the cut-throat, dangerous realm of nightcrawling -- where each police siren wail equals a possible windfall and victims are converted into dollars and cents.
Aided by Nina, a veteran of the blood-sport that is local TV news, Lou blurs the line between observer and participant to become the star of his own story.
Experimental Characterization, Predictive Mechanical and Thermal
Modeling of Nanostructures and Their Polymer Composite focuses on
the recent observations and predictions regarding the
size-dependent mechanical properties, material properties and
processing issues of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and other
nanostructured materials. The book takes various approaches,
including dedicated characterization methods, theoretical
approaches and computer simulations, providing a detailed
examination of the fundamental mechanisms governing the deviations
of the properties of CNTs and other nanostructured materials. The
book explores their applications in materials science, mechanics,
engineering, chemistry and physics due to their unique and
appealing properties. The use of such materials is, however, still
largely limited due to the difficulty in tuning their properties
and morphological and structural features.
Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not
used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad
quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are
images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to
keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the
original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain
imperfections with these old texts, we feel they deserve to be made
available for future generations to enjoy.
At a time when political representation can be said to be facing
its ultimate crisis, this crucial work clarifies the terms of the
debate, providing an up-to-date analysis of the main conceptual and
institutional controversies that have arisen surrounding this
topic. Written by leading scholars in the field, contributions
focus on how representation is conceptualised and its relation to
democracy, examining how political institutions in different
historical periods (ranging from the middle ages to the modern day)
have ensured representation based on demands of various social
forces. This Research Handbook also encapsulates the directions
taken by the main strands of empirical research in political
representation within the context of liberal democracies and
beyond. Overall, this provides a major contribution to the growing
understanding of one of the most important institutional inventions
of contemporary politics. The Research Handbook on Political
Representation is a comprehensive and agile guide to the main
bodies of literature on representation for academic researchers in
political science, sociology and history. It will also guide
post-graduate and graduate students of the same fields in the
exploration of the crucial research questions arising from the
concept and reality of political representation.
With a newly enhanced, realistic art program, this updated edition
of Seeley's Anatomy & Physiology comes to life. Written for the
two-semester anatomy and physiology course, this text is
comprehensive enough to provide the depth necessary for those
courses not requiring prerequisites and is presented with such
clarity that it nicely balances the thorough coverage. Clear
descriptions and exceptional illustrations combine to help students
develop a firm understanding of anatomy and physiology and
understand how to apply those concepts. Known for having a strong
emphasis on critical thinking, Seeley's unique pedagogy integrates
clinical case studies throughout each chapter with a visual program
that presents material in understandable, relevant images, with
application questions that follow.
Water Scarcity, Contamination, and Management presents new and
updated material, including case studies, step-by-step guidance on
key procedures and protocols, and timely topics such as climate
change and integrated water resource management. This book is
divided into three key sections. Section 1-Water Resource
Scarcity-focuses on sustainable development and management of water
resources and techniques and methods for improving water use
efficiency. Section 2-Contamination of Water Resources-focuses on
understanding the quality of water resources, migration of
pollutant sources, geochemical processes, groundwater depletion,
and seasonal variations in contaminant concentration, water
resources' quality status, and associated human health risks.
Section 3-Water Resource Management-considers a consolidated and
coordinated approach to find the solution to water resource issues.
Presenting a comprehensive overview of the water management field,
the book serves as a valuable reference for students, professors,
scholars, researchers, and consultants in the fields of water
resources, civil engineering, environmental science and
engineering, and hydrology.
Internet of behaviors (IoB), also known as the internet of
behavior, emerged as a natural consequence of the internet of
things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI). IoB is an area of
investigation that compiles three fields of study: IoT, data
analysis, and behavioral science. IoB seeks to explain the data
obtained from a behavioral point of view, analyzing human
interaction with technology and referring to the process by which
user-controlled data is evaluated from a behavioral psychology
perspective. Internet of Behaviors Implementation in Organizational
Contexts explores internet of behaviors solutions that promote
people's quality of life. This book explores and discusses, through
innovative studies, case studies, systematic literature reviews,
and reports. The content within this publication represents
research encompassing the internet of behaviors, internet of
things, big data, artificial intelligence, blockchain, smart
cities, human-centric approach for digital technologies, ICT
sustainability, and more. This vital reference source led by an
editor with over two decades of experience is optimized for
university professors, researchers, undergraduate and graduate
level students, and business managers and professionals across
several industries related to or utilizing the internet of things
(IoT).
