Action feature starring Linden Ashby and Rutger Hauer. At the Atlanta Olympics, the women's US swimming team are taken hostage by a group of terrorists led by Omodo (Andrew Divoff), who will not release them until their demands are met. When the gang shoot one of the swimmers on live television, the FBI arrange for an anti-terrorist expert (Hauer) to guide former martial arts champion-turned-janitor Jack Bryant (Ashby) in a counter-attack on the insurgents.
Witness the birth of England as you’ve never seen in the acclaimed series The Last Kingdom from the makers of Downton Abbey. At the end of the 9th century many of the separate kingdoms, which we now call England, have fallen in bloody conflict with invading Danes. Against this turbulent backdrop lives our hero, Uhtred. Born the son of a Saxon nobleman, he is captured by the Danes and raised as one of their own. For many years fate binds him to Alfred, Saxon King of Wessex. Uhtred must fight for Alfred’s dream of uniting the kingdoms. Suffering great personal tragedy, Uhtred is torn between the country of his birth and the people of his upbringing. After Alfred’s death, the turbulent reign of the new King Edward threatens his father’s dream more than ever. Uhtred confronts a difficult choice - if he deserts Alfred’s legacy, the future of the English people will be changed forever.
Victor Webster reprises his role as the young warrior Mathayus in this fourth instalment of the action/adventure franchise. When he is framed for the murder of the king of Norvania, Mathayus must fend off his pursuers while trying to clear his name. But with much of the kingdom against him, can Mathayus find anybody willing to help him?
Utopian commune drama loosely based on director Adam Sherman's own experiences. Victor (Mark L. Young) is becoming more and more suspicious of the utopian lifestyle he has been brought up in by his mother (Andie MacDowell). The philosophy put forward by the community's leader Insley (Rutger Hauer) encourages sexual promiscuity and drug taking as a means of escaping the restrictive way of life found in the wider public sphere, but with this carefree attitude comes a whole host of destructive behaviour. When Victor's childhood sweetheart Becky (Hanna Hall) returns to the commune in order to care for her sick father, she becomes enamoured with the lifestyle and begins enjoying the hedonism instigated by the other members of the community. But will Victor be able to convince her of his own disillusionment and prevent her from spiralling out of control?
He came to mainstream prominence as a machine more human than his creators in Blade Runner, terrified us as a hitchhiker bent on his own death and the death of anyone who got in his way in The Hitcher, and unforgettably portrayed a lonely king roaming the night as a wolf and pining for the love of a hawk during the day in Ladyhawke, Rutger Hauer has dazzled audiences for years with his creepy, inspiring, and villainous portrayals of everyone from a cold-blooded terrorist in Nighthawks to a blind martial arts master in Blind Fury, but his movie career was nothing compared to his real-life adventures of riding horses, sword fighting, and leaving home at fifteen to scrub decks on a freighter and explore the world. From poverty to working with a traveling theater troupe to his breakout European performance in Turkish Delight and working with legendary directors such as Paul Verhoeven (RoboCop and Basic Instinct) and Ridley Scott (Alien and Gladiator), Hauer has collected All Those Moments here.
