Odds are defined as unusual, rare, and uncommon. Odds are also described as an advantage, or favoring one side of two opposing parties. These two definitions together create the story of my life. One where the road wasn't always known, and the trials, temptations, and tribulations weren't expected; but with God's favor on my side I have been victorious in this Christian walk. Coming from a single-parent family, losing my father at an early age, my mother and brother-in-law passing in their sleep, becoming extremely ill unto death, not obeying God to preach the Gospel, my husband losing his job, losing our home to foreclosure, our oldest daughter getting pregnant out of wedlock, to losing our second-born granddaughter, all of this in a very short amount of time; I have learned that you have to go through to get to, so that you can rise as a conqueror "Against all Odds." A true testimony doesn't begin until you experience the odds against you. This is my story of conquering the odds against me, and I am blessed to share it with you.
