Almost all of these photographs were taken by me, (except when I
was in a photo, ) when I worked in the then Territory of Papua New
Guinea (1964 - 1969) and British Solomon Islands Protectorate (1973
- 1976).
THIS BOOK IS A PERSONAL JOURNEY FROM INDIA, VIA SCOTLAND, PAPUA NEW
GUINEA, AUSTRALIA, SOLIMON ISLANDS, SAUDI ARABIA AND BACK TO
SCOTLAND. IT HIGHLIGHTS MY WORKING AND PERSONAL LIFE AS AN
OBSTETRICIAN IN A PRIMITIVE SOCIETY TO THE RELATIVELY SOPHISTICATED
IN SAUDI ARABIA BEFORE RETURNING TO SCOTLAND.
