This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 5th
International Conference on Scalable Uncertainty Management, SUM
2011, held in Dayton, OH, USA, in October 2011. The 32 revised full
papers and 3 revised short papers presented together with the
abstracts of 2 invited talks and 6 "discussant" contributions were
carefully reviewed and selected from 58 submissions. The papers are
organized in topical sections on argumentation systems,
probabilistic inference, dynamic of beliefs, information retrieval
and databases, ontologies, possibility theory and classification,
logic programming, and applications.
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 6th European
Conference on Symbolic and Quantitative Approaches to Reasoning
with Uncertainty, ECSQARU 2001, held in Toulouse, France in
September 2001.
The 68 revised full papers presented together with three invited
papers were carefully reviewed and selected from over a hundred
submissions. The book offers topical sections on decision theory,
partially observable Markov decision processes, decision-making,
coherent probabilities, Bayesian networks, learning causal
networks, graphical representation of uncertainty, imprecise
probabilities, belief functions, fuzzy sets and rough sets,
possibility theory, merging, belief revision and preferences,
inconsistency handling, default logic, logic programming, etc.

refereed proceedings of the 30th International Conference on
Industrial, Engineering and Other Applications of Applied
Intelligent Systems, IEA/AIE 2017, held in Arras, France, in June
2017. The 70 revised full papers presented together with 45 short
papers and 3 invited talks were carefully reviewed and selected
from 180 submissions. They are organized in topical sections:
constraints, planning, and optimization; data mining and machine
learning; sensors, signal processing, and data fusion; recommender
systems; decision support systems; knowledge representation and
reasoning; navigation, control, and autonome agents; sentiment
analysis and social media; games, computer vision; and animation;
uncertainty management; graphical models: from theory to
applications; anomaly detection; agronomy and artificial
intelligence; applications of argumentation; intelligent systems in
healthcare and mhealth for health outcomes; and innovative
applications of textual analysis based on AI.
