The pilot episode and the complete first series of the spin-off of ITV's long-running crime drama 'Inspector Morse'. The show follows Endeavour Morse (Shaun Evans) in his younger years as a police constable during the 1960s. Finding himself ostracised from what becomes a murder investigation, Morse sets out on his own to seek justice. The first series continues to follow Morse as he works alongside his senior partner Detective Inspector Fred Thursday (Roger Allam) and PC James Strange (Sean Rigby) on a number of investigations around Oxford, England. The episodes are: 'Girl', 'Fugue', 'Rocket' and 'Home'.
Romantic period drama starring Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper. Set in depression-era North Carolina the film follows timber magnate George Pemberton (Cooper) and his wife Serena (Lawrence) as their marriage and the life they have built together deteriorates. Following a devastating miscarriage and the news that she cannot have children, Serena and George struggle with the fact that she will not be able to provide him with an heir to his empire. As they seek a solution to their woes, Serena becomes increasingly jealous of the women involved with her husband as he tries to create the child he so desires that he envisages will one day take over his business. When Serena delves deeper into her husband's extramarital affairs she becomes increasingly suspicious that he may be harbouring more than just a single heir.
Roland Emmerich directs this political thriller based around the notion that William Shakespeare was not in fact the author of the canon of plays attributed to him. In Elizabethan England, political intrigue abounds as the Tudors and the Cecils battle it out over the succession of Queen Elizabeth I (Joely Richardson/Vanessa Redgrave), and the Essex Rebellion mobilises against her. Enter the dashing and wildly talented Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford (Jamie Campbell Bower/Rhys Ifans), who not only fathers an illegitimate son in a clandestine incestuous relationship with Queen Elizabeth, but is also the secret author of the plays labeled with the name of William Shakespeare (Rafe Spall).
Director Yann Demange makes his feature debut with this British action thriller set in Belfast during the Troubles. In 1971 during a Belfast riot British soldier Gary Hook (Jack O'Connell) gets separated from his army unit and is forced to spend the night alone on the dangerous streets, unable to distinguish between his friends and his enemies. Can he find his way to safety? The cast also includes Sean Harris, Killian Scott, Martin McCann and Charlie Murphy.
