Revering, Reminiscing, Recordando: Bilingual Muses of a Centenarian emotionally reflects through verse one woman's journey from a Puerto Rican small town to one of the largest cities in America, New York City. I saw the South Bronx at its worse. My concern for my friend, living among the ruins, overwhelmed me. But I could do nothing for her, to move her from one of the only remaining apartment houses left standing, except write this book. It shows the dream of all of us, when we must leave to live. Because each of us has a unique, plaguing, entangling trap, we all need someone to show us how to fly. Here are three ladies that help their friend to leave the ashes behind, and together make a home for themselves among the palms in the sun. My hope is that this book will do the same for you.
