The original idea of writing cracked porcelain was to bring to you
a message that life is not all about happiness, sometimes we have
to experience sad moments. Cracked porcelain is about abuse and
finding your own way of coping with the aftermath of such a vile
act. It is also about finding your own comfort zone and living
happily in a place that you feel safe in. It is about being
comfortable with your own sexuality and gender many lives have been
destroyed through someone else's ignorance. I aim to shock in some
ways by being blunt and forth right in my writing I do not
apologise for this as it is my way of getting my point of view
across. May I suggest that if you have been abused in any way, that
you seek help there are many people like Ruth who are willing to
help you. Don't fight things on your own no one is an island and
many people have been in situations like Pamela or Ruth.
Criminal World is a magazine dedicated to investigating crime all
over the world; the reporters and photographers gather details of
crime from victims, police records, and criminals themselves. The
team takes steps to ensure that the public are provided with
detailed accounts of events with graphic pictures that questionably
cannot be compared with any other crime magazine. Samantha King is
a reporter who joined the team from the Australian office of
Criminal World. She is courageous and determined to get what she
wants. She is also outspoken and uses her beauty to get what she
wants; unfortunately, she tends to offend people with her bad
language and temper. Fiona Ellington is one of the reporters and
also a daughter of the editor, who is strong-minded and a force to
be reckoned with as she immerses all her energy into finding a good
story. Her life is Criminal World and anything else in life takes a
back shelf, including love and marriage. Stuart Elliot was a
photographer who spent a few years as a wedding photographer and
then ventured into the world photographing models. He moved into
the area of crime when he found himself actually photographing a
murder as it happened. Daniel Harrison, another reporter that used
to work in war zones, had a history in the army and used it to help
him on location in remote areas. He achieved many things in his
younger life, recognising an opportunity for a story an every
moment. He was said to even sleep with a notepad in his bed. Many
other people worked for Criminal World of course, and the main
offices employed computer experts and retired scientists
surprisingly enough. It was a thriving concern and the connections
with other areas of expertise helped to make the magazine more
accurate and credible. The World Wide Web, or Internet, serves as a
valuable asset for Criminal World in order to receive vital
information for the magazine.
Cracked Porcelain is about a nurse called Ruth and patient called
Pamela who forms a relationship. To complicate matters, Ruth is
being terrorized by Malcolm, her ex-boyfriend, who happens to be a
violent psychopath. Pamela encourages Ruth into the world of
modeling. The story deals with issues around lesbian relationships
and altered body image. The story also surrounds mental health
issues and stigmas behind both mental health and same-sex
relationships. This is an insight into the forbidden love between a
professional and patient, each with their own demons. It's all
about the drama that surrounds their relationship in the fashion
world, with a few twists and turns along the way. Guaranteed to
leave you thinking.
ULTIMATE PURPOSE This book is a collection of stories, which are
fictitious, however like stories Beyond Belief book one, some of
the characters are real and some situations can be believable. I
will leave it to your own imagination which parts are factual and
where I got most of the characters for my books, needless to say a
lot of people I have either worked with or met over the years. The
idea of 'Blood Trail' is to follow the life of a vampire who
desires to be human again, after years of taking blood to survive
she asks God to help her become a human and live a normal life once
more. To achieve this she has to accomplish tasks and defeat the
vampire that made her a vampire. The next story called Cracked
Porcelain - Broken Wing and Lost Souls' follows the career and life
of a psychiatric nurse called Ruth, her journey of life involves
being involved with a murderous psychopath and finding her own
comfort zone after childhood abuse. She is also discovering her own
sexuality in an ever changing world where same sex relationships
are just being excepted, with this and the shock of her friend
Kathy discovering that she has cancer. Amidst all the dilemma her
dead girl friend Pamela lurks in the shadows as a ghost watching
over Ruth. The third story is about a guardian angel called Faith
who in her efforts, helps a number of people in their life to
survive many problems. Faith has to learn to understand humans in
order to help them and so she lives amongst them for a while. But
her adversary Dawn attempts to prevent from helping people and
causes her harm, she eventually destroys Dawn and her wicked demons
and is attacked by her sister Sonia in a desperate attempt to take
over the earth. Now after the failed efforts to invade the earth,
the demons try a more subtle approach to conquering the earth with
a more intense style of evil warfare. Fiona is the latest demon to
be sent to a prison to capture souls and recruit an army of demons
that will rule the earth. A girl called Jodie has been chosen as
the main target, she is in prison for murder and considered ideal
to join Satan's army. Faith has to enter the prison in order to
save her and prove that she can be a true guardian angel.
Do you believe in angels? During the course of human history man
has believed not only in God, speaking of him in books such as the
bible and the Quran as well as other religious documentation. But
also spoke about spirit creatures that fly and take on many forms
known as angels. In fact the angels were often described as wearing
white robes and hallos, with large wings that help them fly though
the air invisibly. The angels were gods creatures and given
specific tasks by god to serve him and protect the earth and its
inhabitants. But not all angels were considered good, as some
rebelled against god and became fallen angels, Satan led these ones
causing devastation and wars throughout the earth
Sarah has written four stories in this book that deal with the
unusual and sometimes the bizarre. These stories explore areas of
the imagination that leave the reader thinking about various
aspects of mental health and questions whether or not certain
things are real or imaginary. In the first story 'Understanding
Jodie' the author questions the moral ethics of a teenage girl. The
second story 'Living with Faith' is about an angel learning to
protect others living as a mortal. The third story is Alison's
lifelong diary questioning her poor lifestyle following her death,
only to experience her life again with radical changes. Finally the
most bizarre of all stories 'The secret life Helen Harris' about a
woman who wants to change her life and is helped but with drastic
consequences.
Cracked porcelain continues with this sequel about 'Ruth's story'
Following the death of Pamela, Ruth continues her life. She is
tormented by her past and needs to resolve many issues before she
can finally move on and live a normal life. But Ruth is soon moved
out of her comfort zone when issues from the past return to haunt
her life. Her psychopathic ex boyfriend Malcolm died after falling
from Pamela's apartment balcony and his brother Frank threatens to
avenge his death. Ruth also becomes involved in the gay pride
International parades and is a voice for the freedom of all
oppressed people in society. This causes a problem within the
religious aspect of the community who verbally attack anyone who
they feel oppose the bible and its teachings. But Ruth never stands
alone somewhere in the shadows a friend fights for her; Pamela is
around if not in body then in spirit. This story highlights
subjects from the first book and brings the memories flooding back
with as many twists and turns along the way.
