Chris Rock writes, directs and stars in this contemporary comedy as Andre Allen, a struggling comic and film star who is desperate to breathe some new life into his career. Andre finds himself disenchanted by the prospect of his reality TV star fiancée (Gabrielle Union)'s plans to broadcast their wedding on her show. Animated children's feature based on the novel by Roald Dahl. After being discovered by the three farmers he alternatively steals chickens, ducks and turkeys from, Mr. Fox (voice of George Clooney) finds his life is in jeopardy. In an attempt to catch and kill him, the farmers stake out his foxhole but when this fails, they begin to dig him out. In a race against time, Mr. Fox and his family dig their way further underground in an attempt to escape. After three days in hiding, Mr. Fox is forced to come up with a fantastic plan in order to save the lives of his starving family.

Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara, Stellan Skarsgård and Christopher Plummer star in David Fincher's American remake of the Swedish thriller based on the first novel in Stieg Larsson's best-selling crime trilogy. Mikael Blomkvist (Craig), journalist and part-owner of 'Millenium' magazine, has just lost a costly legal case against the corrupt businessman, Hans-Erik Wennerström (Ulf Friberg). The financial hit leaves him with little choice but to take a job offered to him by Henrik Vanger (Plummer), investigating the disappearance of a young woman from the Vanger family some four decades ago. Blomkvist's search for the truth brings him into contact with Lisbeth Salander (Mara), a young computer hacker with special skill as a researcher. As the pair set to work on the case, they begin to make some surprising discoveries about the Vanger family and their history. The film was nominated for five Oscars and won an award for Best Film Editing.

Darkly comic indie drama directed by Noah Baumbach. Ben Stiller stars as Roger Greenberg, a 40-year-old man with little direction or purpose in his life. After suffering an emotional breakdown, he goes to house-sit for his brother in their hometown in California with the express intention of 'doing nothing for a while'. There he makes a few painfully self-conscious attempts to reconnect with old friends and lovers, and falls into a relationship of sorts with his brother's 26-year-old personal assistant, Florence (Greta Gerwig).

The second screen adaptation of Ira Levin's best-selling novel (the first, starring Katherine Ross, was made in 1974) is a darkly satirical comedy, in contrast to the paranoid social critique of the first version. Nicole Kidman stars as Joanna Eberhart, a wildly successful New York career woman who, after suffering a nervous breakdown, moves with her husband Walter (Matthew Broderick) from Manhattan to the peaceful suburban community of Stepford, Connecticut, where everything is chic, polished, and a little too perfect for Joanna. She soon strikes up a friendship with cynical and irreverent Jewish writer Bobbie Markowitz (Bette Midler) - and together the two women discover the ominous secret that underpins the social fabric of the too-good-to-be-true community in which they find themselves.

Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway star in this comedy from film-maker Nancy Meyers. When Ben Whittaker (De Niro), a 70-year-old widower, becomes bored with retired life he decides to return to work, seeking an internship at an online fashion company, owned by Jules Ostin (Hathaway), that runs a senior intern programme. Ben gets the position and as he adjusts to his new surroundings he makes a good impression on his new boss with whom he forms an unlikely friendship.

Remake of the 1971 blaxploitation classic with Samuel L. Jackson taking over from Richard Roundtree in the title role. When waitress Diane (Toni Collette) sees ultra-rich playboy Wade (Christian Bale) murder a young black man outside a nightclub, she knows that she will be next and promptly goes into hiding. Enter Armani-wearing supercop John Shaft (Jackson), the only man who cares enough to bring Wade to justice, and Diane's only hope of survival. Wade pays the drug-boss Peoples Hernandez (Jeffrey Wright) to have Diane killed, but Shaft is also hot on her trail and he's not a man put off easily. Shoot-outs and car chases follow.
