"Ghosts of Gettysburg: Walking on Hallowed Ground" is a keep-you-up-all-night book from real life master ghost hunters Drs. Dave and Sharon Oester, cofounders of the International Ghost Hunters Society, the largest ghost research society on the Internet. Drs. Dave and Sharon Oester spend their time traveling the back roads of America, investigating some of its most haunted places. Over a six-year period, they explored and recorded the amazing ghostly experiences of visitors to the Gettysburg battlefield. One year they devoted a full month for battlefield investigations and drove over 1,000 miles on the battlefield gathering data for this book. Drs. Dave and Sharon Oester were the first to hold ghost conferences in Gettysburg teaching about ghost photography and electronic voice phenomena known as EVP. Their annual ghost conferences started the ghost hunting movement in Gettysburg. Drs. Dave and Sharon Oester share 40 haunted sites on the battlefield, not according to folklore, but from their own personal investigations using scientific tools to validate the existence of ghosts. Each haunted site contains a short history of its part in this three-day battle. Read about the ten most haunted Civil War hospitals sites that can be visited by the reader.
Join Master Ghost Hunters, Drs. Dave & Sharon Oester, as they investigate the dark recesses of the Old West haunted mining ghost towns where miners still search for gold and silver, and moonlit Civil War and frontier Army forts of bygone days, and the shadowy ancient Indian ruins dating back over a thousand years ago. In Ghost Riders of the West, our tales are not ghostly myths and legends told around a campfire, but stories of real ghosts that haunt today's historical sites. At times, they are frightened, and at other times, they just want answers or validation as to what is occurring. The activity continues and as we have always said, ghosts are everywhere. We share our EVP investigations at various old mining ghost towns in the West, such as Stockton, Congress, Octave, Stanton, San Pedro, Rhyolite, Bullfrog, Columbus, Candelaria, Metallic City, and Vulture City. Read about the haunted army forts, such as Fort Craig, Fort Stanton, and Camp Cody. Our EVP investigations into the ancient Indian ruins found at Chaco Canyon, Casamero Pueblo Ruins, the three Salinas Pueblo Missions, the Homolovi Ruins, and the Besh Ba Gowah Ruins.
Join Master Ghost Hunters, Drs. Dave and Sharon Oester, as they investigate the shadowy battlefield of Gettysburg, where two great Armies came together to change history then off to hospitals haunted by Jeffrey, the emissary of death, or to the 1740 Haldeman Mansion where we got some of our best EVP recordings. Join them as we investigate the crash site of Flight 93 where spirits still walk among the living. Travel with these Master Ghost Hunters to the site of the terrible Johnstown flood and the ghostly visitors that still roam the town. Read about the ghostly visitor they met on a dirt road in West Virginia or how a ghost returned from the grave to convict her murderer. More true stories of things that go bump in the night.
Direct from the files of the International Ghost Hunters Society comes the amazing and true scary tales of ghosts, UFOs, and night creatures.
