In spite of our frustration with typical family issues, most parents do not want advice or guidance. No one believes they are perfect, yet as parents we often take on the belief that no assistance is required. Perhaps it's due to our culture. Or perhaps trendy strategies turn people off as their teachings often prove false and possibly damaging. Many books spout theory and provide insight but lack practical solutions. Parents often find information is biased and useless for their needs. I hope you will find this book a welcomed retreat from the norm. You will notice that it is short; parents can read it in a day. Secondly, it provides insights that are practical and will provide parents with simple strategies that can be modified for individual parenting styles and values. Finally, these nine big principles are essential and will make a huge difference in your family's life. There is nothing earth shattering in my recommendations.
