The story based on the adventures of Lear's Owl and the Pussycat who went to sea in a beautiful pea-green boat with honey and plenty of money; of the Dong with the luminous Nose; of the Pig with a Ring through its Nose; of the Runcible Spoon, the villainous Plum Pudding Flea and others. All these are linked together to form a single tale with songs and mimed interludes.
