Chinese martial arts drama. Su Can (Vincent Zhao) retires as a military general so he can start a family with his wife, Yuan Ying (Zhou Xun). Six years later, Su Can's jealous half-brother, Yuang (Andy On), abducts his son. Su Can becomes depressed but when he hears his son is alive and in need of assistance, he rises to the challenge, perfecting his fighting skills, which include 'The Drunken Fist' move, to ensure he will be able to save his son.

In the following weeks, as she attempts to put her life back in order, she's introduced to, and befriends, a young boy (Sidney Johnston) whose father was involved in the attack.

Martial arts drama written, produced and directed by Kar Wai Wong. Wing Chun grandmaster Ip Man (Tony Chiu Wai Leung) travelled from Foshan in China to Hong Kong after the Sino-Japanese War where he progressed within his martial art and took on his rival Gong Yutian (Qingxiang Wang). With Gong retiring and ready to announce his successor, Ip Man set up a school and started teaching his beloved art in order to find a suitable heir.
