Neil Thompson directs this British thriller set in early 1980s
Birmingham. Mel Raido stars as Danny, a lonely and introverted
factory worker whose already bleak existence is reduced still
further when he becomes the victim of a random act of violence.
However, Danny's life is turned around when he meets the doormen of
a local nightclub, who take him in and build up his confidence. But
as Danny is drawn deeper into their world, he crosses paths with
the local gangland boss and inadvertently triggers a chain of
events with shockingly brutal consequences.
