Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
This Book is for ALL:
Magick is for ALL:
The Law is for ALL:
The Invisible House Society was founded for the sole purpose of
advancing the training of students through the grades of the Order
of the Golden Dawn into the Order of the Rosy Cross (representing
levels of attainment and not to be confused with societies or
orders that have taken to naming themselves after these systems).
The grade system and method of instruction included in this book
and taught by the Invisible House Society is the same system used
by the A A (Astron Argon) as delivered by Aleister Crowley and
George Cecil Jones.
After years of initiating and training students, it was decided by
the founding members to take the system of training and compile it
into one resource. One book. It would contain all of the necessary
instructions for the Probationer, Neophyte, Zelator, Practicus, and
Philosophus. Now a comprehensive resource exists for student
training that encompasses guided-initiation,
apprenticed-initiation, and self-initiation with extensive oral
instructions put into the written word.
Should you use this book? The daunting tasks necessary to become a
student of Magick are enough to scare prospective students away.
Superstition is enough to scare others. Self-doubt, self-loathing,
a false sense of obligation to others, ridicule from peers; the
list of reasons not to become an Initiate is endless. Yet there are
individuals who dare to take a step onto the path. This book is for
those who have the desire, drive, and tenacity to take that first
step and attempt to stay the course.
How to use this book: Path to the Invisible House hasbeen written
in sequential order. The Probationer is strongly urged to read the
course curriculum in the order provided, and to begin the
instructions included in Section One, without befuddling the mind
with other sections of the book. The same advice holds true for
each grade, but only in looking forward into the next grade.
Reviewing material from previous grade sections is always
recommended.
What does this book teach? The grade system and method of
instruction included in this book and taught by the Invisible House
Society is the same system used by the A A (Astron Argon) as
delivered by Aleister Crowley and George Cecil Jones. As they
adapted and perfected pre-existing systems to suit the needs of
their circumstance, so too does the Invisible House Society. Most
of the perceived deviations from the original system are methods of
instruction, usually as a means of simplifying and further
explaining very complex components of certain grade tasks.
Additionally, material has been added, some of which did not exist
when the original system was created. The essence of each grade and
its intent has been maintained.
The Great Work is not a path for the chosen, but a path we choose
to take.
Love is the law, love under will.
