Federico Maria Sardelli conducts the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Orchestra in this live production of the 1738 version of Vivaldi's opera in two acts. Mary-Ellen Nesi performs the title role with the rest of the cast including Delphine Galou, Sonia Prina, Loriana Castellano and Emanuele D'Aguanno.

Ottavio Dantone leads the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment in this first staging of Handel's opera at Glyndebourne, recorded live in August, 2011. Director Robert Carsen gives the production a contemporary updating, while cast members include Sonia Prina in the title-role, Anett Fritsch as Almirena, Brenda Rae as the Saracen sorceress Armida, and Luca Pisaroni as Argante, the King of Jerusalem.
