When James H. Holzrichter, Sr. literally fell into a job with one
of the country's largest defense contractors (and developer at the
time of the Stealth Bomber), it appeared he had been given his
second real break in life to leave behind a tortured childhood, a
challenging youth, and the unstable work and constant moving he and
his family had experienced for years. In spite of his absence of
advanced degrees, his solid knowledge of electronics developed
years before in a special program in the Coast Guard and his
natural abilities to improve systems for tracking testing of
high-tech parts and components led to rapid advancement. Add to
this the additional life changing stint in rehab that also helped
transform his life and that of his family, and it appeared he and
they had been given a genuine shot at the American Dream. What he
did not know was that his very abilities to create more systematic
tracking systems and his almost accidental expansion of duties in
doing so would place his whole existence in jeopardy. As his work
increasingly provided a view across normally strictly partitioned
need-to-know only information on different projects and even stages
of development, he inescapably discovered patterns of apparent
mismanagement up to likely known fraud that resulted in mis-billing
and over-billing the government and taxpayers of the United States
to the tune of probably many millions to potentially billions of
dollars per year. When his early distress over what to do and
doubts over whom to trust left him nearly paralyzed in determining
a plan of action, the arrival on the scene of federal DCIS agents
demanding his aid as an essentially undercover secret federal
informant genuinely presented a point of no return. The soon to be
full on David and Goliath saga that was now in unstoppable full
motion would take the next seventeen years to play out in high risk
secret information gathering, humiliating family stays in homeless
shelters, precedent setting legal battles, and barely disguised
attempts on his life (and that of his children) along with the
alleged murder by cancer causing poison of his co-complainant.

An interesting collection of introspective poetry that covers love
and romance, politics and war, loneliness and depression and dark,
short stories with twists and turns with characters that come to
life in your mind. This is the first published work by James E. F.
Riley, Sr.
This book is about a malpractice lawsuit filed due to a wrongful
death claim. My family was grateful and blessed to have won the
maximum amount of damages permissible under Louisiana law. The
verdict value of $950,000 was a sizable amount of money, but it in
no way provided a scintilla of comfort toward the loss of my
father. I would rather forfeit the money award damages to have him
alive. It is my sincere desire that you the family, the medical
practitioner, the law student or any persons of interest interested
in becoming informed and empowered regarding all of their
inalienable rights get a revelation by reading this book. Please
use this book as a reference and education guide to assist you with
getting through the laborious legal process via simplifying the
process so that even a layperson can get their hands around the
process and make it work in their favor.
As a corporate executive, James S. Avery did not simply open doors
for black people in this country; he changed marketing strategy
throughout the corporate world. Now, in his autobiography, "Others
Thought I Could Lead," Avery shares the secrets of his success--his
strong work ethic, his moral values, and a belief in himself that
allowed him to persevere in the face of adversity. As Horace
Baldwin states in the foreword, Avery's book gives us the
opportunity to put our own stories in perspective as we realize how
much we are capable of contributing to the world.
Wouldn't you like to share poems with your loved ones that inspire
them to appreciate Mother Nature, dream, fly and rise to their
fullest potential? "She Rose" is a book for the budding mind, the
blooming body, and the blossoming spirit. Venus Jones offers the
reader poetic tributes of both sung and unsung female and male
heroes, thought provoking quotes, and inspirational affirmations.
