Twizzle is the story of my guardian angel, Mora. A hardheaded, whiskey drinking, cigar smoking, motorcycle riding, card playing, blues aficionado who felt at home in a kitchen or a smoke filled bar. Mora lived hard and fast. Her lust for life drove her to try and live it twice, once through her own years on earth and once through mine. The lessons she taught and the lessons she learned. The loved ones she brought into my life whether they walked on two, three or four legs. My life became her favorite recipe. A stew of family and friends added at the right times in life. A pinch of adventure, a dash of heartache and stirred occasionally. She would do everything in her power to make sure it was a deep and hearty stew with a great piece of bread for sopping up the gravy. So do like Mora would do at her favorite hangout, the Fore "N" Aft. Pay your admission, get your hand stamped and come inside for a good time.
