Low-budget action adventure. While on a family vacation to Naples, mother and daughter Lynne (Jhey Castles) and Mykaela Pierce (Georgina Beedle) explore the nearby historic town of Pompeii while Jeff (Adrian Paul) attends a business meeting. When Mount Vesuvius explodes the mother and daughter duo is forced to run for their lives with the rest of the helpless tourists. Luckily for the survivors, teenager Mykaela knows more than her fair share about volcanoes and how to survive their eruption. Meanwhile, ex-Special Forces commando Jeff disobeys his orders and enlists some of his old colleagues for a mission to save his family from the fires of Pompeii but faces a hasty race against time to succeed.
