After the death of her father, Ellie Arroway (Jodie Foster) devotes
her life to science. Convinced of the existence of
extra-terrestrial life, she uses satellites to sweep the stars for

high-wire artist Philippe Petit. On the morning of 7th August 1974,
Philippe Petit (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) began a walk 1,350 feet above
the ground between the Twin Towers in New York City. Using just a

America. En route the plane crashes into the Pacific Ocean, leaving
