"How deep is the grave?" is the first of a series six supernatural thrillers for young adult readers. 'The Lizard Tales' are set around the dramatic scenery of the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall, but the action also moves to Canada, United States and Australia. Each 'Tale' features its own set of young heroes who find themselves in the frontline in the coming war against the timeless evil force of the 'Serpent'. In "How deep is the grave?" David Givens' first trip to the place his brother died years before, puts him in the middle of a ghost mystery. His only ally is Australian surfer Truddi Carswell who must save David from the watery grave that haunts him.
