All six episodes of the cult BBC Scotland comedy drama series penned by John Byrne. Over-the-hill Scottish rockers The Majestics are all set to embark on their farewell tour when their lead singer, Big Jazza McGlone, is killed in a car accident. At his funeral the group's manager, Eddie Clockerty (Richard Wilson), persuades Jazza's younger brother Danny (Robbie Coltrane) to join the band as a replacement. Emma Thompson co-stars as fellow band member and all-round sharp cookie Suzi Kettles.
