William Schmidt. Lil and her husband, Roy M. Weir, lived and raised
five children in Minnesota until retiring to Fort Myers, Florida,
where Roy died in 1994. Lil moved to Dallas in 2004 to be near
family. She lived there until her death in 2008. She was a gifted
artist, poet and children's writer. She will be best remembered for
her strong Christian faith, her wonderful sense of humor and her
