Schrittweise werden untersuchungsrelevante Aspekte eingegrenzt sowie zentrale Begriffe der Arbeit eingefuhrt. Anschliessend beschaftigt sich Kapitel 3 mit der Verkehrsmittelwahl als Forschungsfeld. Zunachst bedeutet dies die zentralen Begriffe Mobilitat, Mobilitatsverhalten, Verkehrsmittel und Verkehrsmittelwahl zu erklaren und den weiteren theoretischen Bezugsrahmen, nach der Erlauterung von Jugend, dieser Arbeit zu legen.
