Why acting in your own self-interest is good for you, your loved
ones, society, and the world. People with burdensome
responsibilities report being among the most unhappy, unfulfilled
people in the world. One of the contributing factors to our
unhappiness and non fulfillment is our inclination to concede to
external influences and other peoples' expectations and demands of
us. When we do, we forego doing the things that we genuinely want
to do which will bring us pleasure, and, instead, submit to the
external influences which often hold us back and make us miserable.
Chocolate Peppers attempts to inspire the reader to resist these
traps in order to to become happier and more fulfilled. It does so
by demonstrating how eschewing external influences and acting in
their self-interest is not only good for the reader, but also their
loved ones and society in general; and it does so in an
entertaining and engaging manner.
