The present study is based on qualitative interviews.The main aim of the study is to get an overview picture about the nature and context of conflict and find out the causes for conflict and also to get the ideas about how the conflict affect their lives and finally to give some suggestions to resolve conflict through the counselors point of view.The three major research questions-what are the forms or nature of conflict? What are the causes and affects of conflicts on the couple as well as on their children? and what are the solutions to resolutions of the conflict? The findings of the study explored that conflict turns from simple to complex if remain unsolved. Argumentation and avoidance have been found as two destructive elements for conflict in couple.The major cause of conflict is closely related with the birth of first child.Role conflict and maintain every day life are another causes for split up.The study explores that Divorce or separation doesn't end the conflict because of children.So the book could be helpful to new researchers or social workers to identify the way to cope with the situation in an effective and constructive way.

The general objective of this exploratory study is to explore the psycho-social impacts of eve teasing on young girls.The study was conducted within 12-18 years 6o girls from 5 schools of Sylhet city choosing purposive and random sampling.The study reveals that 86.67% of the young girls faced different sorts of teasing in their life.In most cases the teasers are the young men. The reasons for indulging in eve teasing are patriarchy, illiteracy, unemployment, faulty socialization, the modern fashion of dress up, western media and sky culture, weak laws & enforcement, misuse of technology.It was found that the experiences of eve teasing were very traumatic for the victims.The respondents shared that they feel uncomfortable, insecure, less dignified, inferior humiliated, angry, degraded, scared, traumatized when they have been teased.Respondents faced insecurity to go outside.Kidnapping, acid throwing, drop out from school, early marriage, suicide etc are the social impacts of it.So the issue of eve teasing should be addressed seriously and the present study could be helpful for shaping policy against this social evil like eve teasing.

Aromatic rice varieties are of traditional type. These indigenous rice cultivars are low yielding but their higher price and low cost of cultivation generate superior profit margins compared to other rice varieties. Several biotic and abiotic factors are believed to be responsible for the low yield potentials of these varieties of Bangladesh. In addition to the conventional breeding methods, biotechnological techniques can be applied in overcoming such constraints. But limited information is available regarding the improvement of these rice varieties through biotechnology. In vitro techniques as well as molecular characterization these varieties may play significant role in their improvement. This book reports about a genotype independent regeneration protocol for six aromatic rice varieties from Bangladesh as well as the diversity of these varieties by RAPD analysis. Moreover possibility of electroporation has been exploited as a transformation protocol using GFP. This book will be very helpful for the researchers who are interested in improvement of traditional aromatic rice varieties using modern biotechnological techniques.
