As a child, I begged my father to make up his wonderful stories as I tried to go to sleep. This book is a tribute to my father who steeped me in the family tradition of story telling. I found that making up stories was the only way to get my older daughter to sleep. This was in response to the frequent request of "stay with me while I go to sleep". After many years and now that both my daughters are grown up, I have put pen to paper to help distraught mums and dads get their small children to sleep. I wish you all sweet dreams
Is Rebecca Jumpitt an infuriating mother-in-law on the verge of paranoia, or is she really the centre of a conspiracy that is set to change the very structure of society? This short novel is written for those who have troublesome mother-in-laws and their families. It explores the often unspoken relationships that are common in families. It opens the possibility that things are not what they appear to be and yet even the apparent conspiracy has a twist with the reader at times having doubts as to whether there is indeed a conspiracy. This is a novel about human relationships, and a murder mystery with psychological and political overtones. It is written in a semi-humorous and blunt style and looks at what is happening from the points of view of different family members.
