Mel Brooks' Oscar-nominated horror spoof, the follow-up to 'Blazing Saddles' and the highest grossing black-and-white film of all time. Gene Wilder plays Frederick Frankenstein, a teacher who inherits his grandfather's Transylvanian estate; Marty Feldman plays Igor, his hunchback assistant; and Peter Boyle, the tap-dancing monster he brings to life in his laboratory.
Power line repairman Roy Neary (Richard Dreyfuss) has a 'close encounter' with an alien spacecraft when he is sent out to investigate a mysterious power surge one night. Roy then becomes obsessed with five musical notes and a strange image in his head, estranging himself from his wife (Teri Garr) in the process. He also discovers that he is not alone in his experiences, and joins others as they are drawn to the site of a visitation by an alien ship.
Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey) and Harry Dunne (Jeff Daniels) are a pair of hapless losers on the road, attempting to find the beautiful owner of a mislaid briefcase. Unbeknownst to them, the case contains ransom money for the woman's husband, and they find themselves pursued by his thuggish kidnappers, whilst stumbling across a series of oddballs along the way.
Another live action and animated adventure with the friendly ghost. Desmond, Wendy and her three witch aunts, Gerty, Gabby and Fanny, are being pursued by an evil warlock and decide to hide in a mountain resort. They then meet Casper and his three uncles, Stretch, Stinkie and Fatso and all join forces to save Wendy from the nasty wizard.
Francis Ford Coppola's Las Vegas-set romantic musical drama. Hank (Frederic Forrest) and Frannie (Teri Garr) love each other but they feel they should find out what other lovers are like. So Hank goes off with Leila (Natassja Kinski) and Frannie pairs up with Ray (Raul Julia) but it's not long, in fact only a few hours, before Hank changes his mind and sets about winning Frannie back. The songs are written by Tom Waits and performed by Waits and Crystal Gayle.
