/p> The Institute for New Testament Textual Research is located
at the University of Munster. Their central task is to research the
textual history of the New Testament and to reconstruct its Greek
initial text on the basis of the entire manuscript tradition, the
early translations and patristic citations. Foremost among the
results of this research is the ongoing publication of the Editio
Critica Maior. The Institute produces several more editions and a
variety of tools for NT scholarship, including the concise editions
known as the Nestle-Aland Novum Testamentum Graece and the UBS
Greek New Testament.
This full critical apparatus to the Gospel according to St. Luke
aims at the comprehensiveness of Tischendorf and von Soden. The
Textus Receptus is printed with variant readings in Greek
manuscripts, early versions, and patristic quotations. As far as
the Greek evidence is concerned, all papyri, most uncials, and 128
cursives are consistently cited. Ten lectionaries are cited as
representative of the dominant lectionary text, and 31 other
examples exhibiting divergent texts are quoted individually.
Patristic citations in Greek and Latin up to AD 500 and a selection
of the most important in Syriac up to AD 400 are recorded. The
provision of indexes to the patristic citations of each verse with
references to modern editions makes this an invaluable source-book
for scholars interested in the history of exegesis or in patristic
theology.
A compelling, surprising new show that turns a spotlight onto
Britain's missing histories. Dedicated to the Black Men's Walking
Group. Thomas, Matthew and Richard walk. They walk the first
Saturday of every month. Walking and talking. But this walk...
Maybe they should have cancelled, but they needed the walk today.
Out in the Peaks, they find themselves forced to walk backwards
through two thousand years before they can move forwards.

This volume focuses on Christology in the New Testament. It is a
topic that has been treated extensively in monographs,
commentaries, systematic theologies, and devotional writings of the
Christian church. Nonetheless, the contributors believe it deserves
a better critical, historical, exegetical, and bbiblical theologyb
treatment than is usually received in either the scholarly or the
popular press. So this volume was prepared with the hope that a
more responsible treatment of Christology in the New Testament will
prove to be of help to many earnest Christians who seek to think
and live in a more Christian fashion, and thereby have a positive
impact on the church at large.
She cared for him, she understood him... And now she's gone. Two
new plays from acclaimed rapper and playwright Testament (Black Men
Walking). Orpheus in the Record Shop Orpheus is alone, playing
tunes in his record shop. After a visitor leaves him an unexpected
gift strange things start to happen and music, myth and reality
collide. Together with Orpheus we go in search of something
ancient, contemporary and hopeful. The Beatboxer A beatboxer goes
into a call centre to run a training day. But the bosses have
ulterior motives for him being there. Testament takes inspiration
from the classical Greek myth of Orpheus, in a show that fuses
spoken word and beatboxing with the musicians of the Orchestra of
Opera North. Published alongside his radio play The Beatboxer which
was shortlisted for The Imison Award, BBC Audio Drama Awards, these
two plays are inspiring pieces of contemporary theatre. Orpheus in
the Record Shop was broadcast as part of the #BBCLightsUp season on
BBC television in 2021.
