This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 18th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence: Methodology, Systems, and Applications, AIMSA 2018, held in Varna, Bulgaria, in September 2018. The 22 revised full papers and 7 poster papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 72 submissions. They cover a wide range of topics in AI: from machine learning to natural language systems, from information extraction to text mining, from knowledge representation to soft computing; from theoretical issues to real-world applications.
This open access volume constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 27th biennial conference of the German Society for Computational Linguistics and Language Technology, GSCL 2017, held in Berlin, Germany, in September 2017, which focused on language technologies for the digital age. The 16 full papers and 10 short papers included in the proceedings were carefully selected from 36 submissions. Topics covered include text processing of the German language, online media and online content, semantics and reasoning, sentiment analysis, and semantic web description languages.
This book constitutes the revised selected papers of the 5th International Conference on Semantics and Digital Media Technologies, SAMT 2010, held in Saarbr cken, Germany, in December 2010. As a result of a highly selective review procedure, 12 full papers and 4 short papers were accepted for publication. The contributions present novel approaches for managing, distributing and accessing large amounts of multimedia material. The topics covered include semantic search, analysis and retrieval of images, audio, video, 3D/4D material as well as of computer generated multimedia content. Also addressed are issues relating to semantic metadata management, semantic user interfaces, and semantics in visualization and computer graphics.
