Studies of varied aspects of Robin Hood legends and associated topics: the greenwood, archery, outlawry, and 20c response to the legends. The Robin Hood tradition has had a continuing appeal from the middle ages to the present day, the hero himself holding a distinctive place within popular culture, his exploits, and those of his companions, being celebrated in multiple forms, from the earliest rituals, plays and ballads to musical theatre, lyric poetry, modern popular fiction, cinema and TV. The essays in this volume provide a rich and coherent perspective on this enigmatic figure and the legends which have grown up around him, offering a wide range of approaches. Topics include place-name study; examinations of surviving manuscripts and their cultural context; appraisals of the links between Robin Hood and medievalarchery; other medieval outlaws; mythic figures such as the Green Man; patterns of masculine and feminine identity; and the popularity of Robin Hood on stage and screen, in comic books and videos, and in modern Japan. Bei der Ausfuhrung stehen Dinge wie Passgenauigkeit und Randschluss, also mehr mechanische Parameter im Vordergrund. Bei der Qualitat geht es u.a. sowohl um moglichst biovertragliche unauffallige Komponenten als auch um die Beeinflussung optischer Eigenschaften der spateren Verblendung.

This overview of recent research on how institutions matter in tackling environmental problems reports the findings and policy implications of a decade-long international research project. Studies show that institutions play a role both in causing and in addressing problems arising from human-environment interactions. But the nature of this role is complex and not easily described. This book presents an overview of recent research on how institutions matter in efforts to tackle such environmental problems as the loss of biological diversity, the degradation of forests, and the overarching issue of climate change. Using the tools of the "new institutionalism" in the social sciences, the book treats institutions as sets of rights, rules, and decision-making procedures. Individual chapters present research findings and examine policy implications regarding questions of causality, performance, and institutional design as well as the themes of institutional fit (or misfit), interplay, and scale. Daraus zu schlussfolgern, dass der Finanzierungsbedarf der Unternehmen gesunken sei, ist falsch. Stattdessen finanzierten sich viele Unternehmen uber die Emission von Wandelanleihen, die sowohl fur den Emittenten eine interessante Form der Finanzierung, als auch fur den Investor ein attraktives Investitionsobjekt darstellen. Immer noch bestehende Uneinigkeiten beim theoretischen Verstandnis dieser Finanzierungsform und Massnahmen des Gesetzgebers und der Finanzverwaltung bereiten jedoch Probleme.
