Danube River and Western Black Sea Coast: Complex Transboundary Management is a brand-new volume in the Elsevier “Ecohydrology from Catchment to Coast Series”. It focuses on the second largest river in Europe, and the most transboundary river basin encompassing 19 countries. The chapters focus on the changes to the area in the past decade and a way forward. Made up of three  parts, the book starts with an overview of what to expect and what the content covers, it goes on to cover The Danube River and its recipient, the Black Sea including sediment balance, water quality, hydromorphology and aquatic biodiversity. Section two covers the key pressures and implementation of transboundary water management such as aquatic resources, invasive species, climate change and stakeholder participation. Section three assess visions for a sustainable future in the Danube River Basin with a look to applicable sustainability, ecosystem and human interaction and improving biodiversity through floodplains. The book concludes with a summary and outlook.

This is the second volume of a series of mainly expository articles on the arithmetic theory of automorphic forms. It forms a sequel to On the Stabilization of the Trace Formula published in 2011. The books are intended primarily for two groups of readers: those interested in the structure of automorphic forms on reductive groups over number fields, and specifically in qualitative information on multiplicities of automorphic representations; and those interested in the classification of I-adic representations of Galois groups of number fields. Langlands' conjectures elaborate on the notion that these two problems overlap considerably. These volumes present convincing evidence supporting this, clearly and succinctly enough that readers can pass with minimal effort between the two points of view. Over a decade's worth of progress toward the stabilization of the Arthur-Selberg trace formula, culminating in Ngo Bau Chau's proof of the Fundamental Lemma, makes this series timely.

The Mongol empire was founded early in the 13th century by Chinggis Khan and within the span of two generations embraced most of Asia, becoming the largest land-based state in history. The united empire lasted only until around 1260, but the major successor states continued on in the Middle East, present day Russia, Central Asia and China for generations, leaving a lasting impact - much of which was far from negative - on these areas and their peoples. The papers in this volume present new perspectives on the establishment of the Mongol empire, Mongol rule in the eastern Islamic world, Central Asia and China, and the legacy of this rule. The various authors approach these subjects from the view of political, military, social, cultural and intellectual history.
