In this re-imagined version of The Twelve Days of Christmas, winter wildlife is observed as the snow comes. What animals do you think you might see? Do you think bears will be included? Why or why not? The only way to find out is to read or sing along as animals watch their world get blanketed by gentle layers of snow.
In this follow-up to Twelve Days of Winter here is another book to read or sing along with children. In this reimagined version of The Twelve Days of Christmas, wildlife is observed during summer. The animals enjoy the greening of the land, the blooming of flowers, and the warmth of the sun. Summer is also a busy time for animal parents who are wrangling their little ones. Read or sing along as you observe animals enjoy the first days of summer. For ages 3 to 8. “On the first day of summer we looked around to see, a porcupine in a fir tree.”
This children's book is a compilation of short poems based on nature but heavily influenced by everyday events around us. The individual short stories were the result of the author's inspiration that came about by her sensitivity to daily occurrences around her. It is hoped that whoever is reading the book will enjoy the stories by discerning the basic concepts applied together with illustrations.
