Dieser PVS-Sonderband gibt einen breiten UEberblick uber den aktuellen deutschen Forschungsstand zum Verhaltnis von technologischem, politischem und staatlichem Wandel. Vorrangig bezogen auf die deutsche Situation wird einerseits untersucht, wie technologische Faktoren, vermittelt uber ihre Auswirkungen auf das gesellschaftliche und politische Umfeld des Staates, die staatlichen Institutionen durchdringen und die Handlungsmoeglichkeiten des Staates verandern.
