Polish drama. The film follows Edyta (Katarzyna Herman), who has left her husband and family behind and moved to Warsaw where she spends her days driving around the city and her nights meeting random men in their own homes. Although she meets these men under the pretence of having sex with them, she instead drugs them with sleeping pills and only takes advantage of their hospitality. However, when she meets Patryk (Tomasz Tyndyk), her outlook takes a turn for the better and she begins to see a way out of her crisis.
Tomasz Wasilewski writes and directs this Polish drama starring Julia Kijowska, Magdalena Cielecka and Dorota Kolak. Set in the early 1990s, after the decline of communism in Poland, the film follows four women who are trying to adapt to the changing times and their new-found freedom. The intertwined foursome include Agata (Kijowska), who becomes obsessed with a local priest, schoolteacher Iza (Cielecka), who is having an affair with a doctor, and her fellow teacher Renata (Kolak) who yearns for a closer relationship with her neighbour Marzena (Marta Nieradkiewicz).
