Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain imperfections with these old texts, we feel they deserve to be made available for future generations to enjoy.
John is an unhappy salesman who hates his job. Bill is a cranky, retired man who's always looking for ways to make more money. Allan and Mary Alice are two children saving up their coins to buy a bag of toys. A lonely, invisible monster hides under a picnic table at the local park. What does this unlikely group have in common? All of their lives are about to be dramatically changed by a magic nickel. After praying to God in desperation to show him the way to happiness, John- joined by his friend Bill-begins to sell little bags of toys at a picnic table at the local public park. Business is slow that first day, and John and Bill leave with five dollars, a card with an important nugget of wisdom printed on it, and a remarkably warm nickel that John imagines could be magical. They also meet Allan and Mary Alice and attract the attention of the invisible monster under the table. But when Bill and John return the park the following week, something amazing begins to happen. Join John, Bill, Allan, Mary Alice, and the monster under the table as the magic of the nickel spreads in their hearts and teaches them the true meaning of happiness.
Life has its ups and downs, but it also has plenty of "in between" moments, when we're neither up nor down but somewhere in the middle. During such times, it's easy to lose ourselves in complacency or boredom, or to feel insecure, alone, and consumed by doubt. But, if you've ever found yourself in this "in between" place, rest assured you are not stuck. By seeking a more complete relationship with God, you can pull yourself out of the murky middle and get your life back on track. "God and Me and Sometimes in Between" is a collection of inspirational messages that will help you bring more stability to your life. Based on Christian scriptures and universal themes of love, it nudges you in the right direction, encourages you to change the way you look at everyday life, and teaches you how to open yourself to God's blessings, messages, and gifts. The passages are easy to read, arranged in alphabetical order, and divided into five distinct sections This makes "God and Me and Sometimes in Between" both an inspirational impetus to bring about gradual change and a reference point for how to deal with certain life situations as they arise.

South Africa is a country which is experiencing freshwater challenges in term of water quality management (DWAF 2005, Ninham Shand & Arcus Gibb, 2001). The challenge in managing this natural resource is often due to an increaase in demand for water by a diversity of land use within the river catchment, which have impacts on water quality (Feng, 2005; Ma, 2005; Rui Li, 2005). The Bottellary River catchment in Cape Town and the Western Cape Province of South Africa is a true example of the impacts that land use types pose on the water quality in this area.
