All eight episodes of the limited series, inspired by a true story. In December 2001, crime novelist Michael Peterson is arrested on suspicion of murdering his second wife, Kathleen, after her body is discovered at the bottom of the staircase in their home in Durham, North Carolina. As the case goes to trial, a team of French film-makers begin documenting Michael's story while his family debates his innocence.
Romantic drama starring Toni Collette as Sandy, an archetypal Australian woman: ambitious, strong and confident. When her business partner asks her to play tour guide to a prospective new client, Japanese businessman Hiromitsu (Gotaro Tsunashima), Sandy is reluctant - and her guest's uncommunicative manner and sexist remarks don't help to break the ice. But events lead to the mismatched couple being stranded together in a remote part of the outback for a night, and an unusual and intense relationship begins to unfold that changes both their lives forever.
When Ellen, the matriarch of the Graham family, passes away, her daughter Annie (Toni Colette) and her husband (Gabriel Byrne) and their two children begin to unravel cryptic and increasingly terrifying secrets about their ancestry. The more they discover, the more they find themselves trying to outrun the sinister fate they seem to have inherited. Making his feature debut, writer-director Ari Aster unleashes a nightmare vision of a domestic breakdown that exhibits the craft and precision of a nascent auteur, transforming a familial tragedy into something ominous and deeply disquieting, and pushing the horror movie into chilling new terrain with its shattering portrait of heritage gone to hell.
Toni Collette and Drew Barrymore star as lifelong best friends in this comedy drama directed by Catherine Hardwicke. The story follows the inseparable London pair Milly (Collette) and Jess (Barrymore), who have been friends since they were schoolgirls, as they confront the life-altering events that await them in adult life. Milly's world falls apart when she is diagnosed with cancer and, as she begins receiving treatment, she has to explain the situation to her two young children while her husband Kit (Dominic Cooper) slowly loses interest in her. Jess tries her best to support her friend while also trying to start a family of her own with her boyfriend Jago (Paddy Considine).
