John Lasseter directs this Pixar animated comedy adventure sequel. When slow-witted tow truck Mater (voiced by Larry the Cable Guy) travels to Tokyo with his superstar friend Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) for the international Grand Prix, sleek Aston Martin Finn McMissile (Michael Caine) and his sidekick Holley Shiftwell (Emily Mortimer) become convinced that Mater is, despite his unassuming appearance, nothing less than a brilliant international spy.

In New York, the evil Shredder (Tohoru Masamune) and his Foot Clan are quickly taking over control of the city by force under the direction of Eric Sacks (William Fichtner), a money-hungry businessman. Meanwhile, April O'Neil (Megan Fox), a journalist covering the rise in criminal activity with the help of cameraman Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), is shocked to find that the city's only hope is four mutated sewer-dwelling turtles and their ninja master Splinter (Danny Woodburn/voice of Tony Shalhoub). Can the Turtles put an end to Shredder's evil plans and protect the city from total domination?

Animated comedy featuring the voices of Owen Wilson and Paul Newman. Successful rookie racer Lightning McQueen (Wilson) has just won a three-way tie with elder rival Chick Hicks (Michael Keaton) and 'The King' (Richard Petty). On his way to the big tie-breaking race, Lightning crashes through Radiator Springs on Route 66 and is forced to remain in town until he repairs the damage he has caused. At first, the tight-knit community doesn't accept Lightning's bad attitude but he eventually befriends redneck Mater (Larry the Cable Guy) and falls in love with Sally (Bonnie Hunt). However, he can't seem to get the gruff Doc Hudson (Newman) to change his mind about him. Soon Lightning learns the inhabitants of the town as a whole also had a different past that's painfully absent, and tries to help them enjoy it once more.
