Enrico LoTrova is finally living his dream and delivering his bread
throughout Wimbledon Village. Yet, the peace of the village is
about to be crushed by a ghastly discovery near Saint Mary's
Church. One that will lead to Lord Awlthorp, the mysterious man in
black, eager to discover one of the hill's long-forgotten secrets.
From ancient manors to secret potions, Wimbledon will soon be
shaken at its core.
Enrico LoTrova always wanted to move to London and open his own
bakery. When he finally lands a spot at 9/b High Street in
Wimbledon Village, it is a dream come true, but when he thinks his
career is about to take off, a series of unfortunate and mysterious
events are set into motion that will drag him to the depths of the
town's unknown history. From legendary flowers to secret
conspiracies, Enrico cannot resist his curiosity and Wimbledonians
soon realise their new Italian neighbour is more than just a baker.
When you are ten years old, the world is simple and innocent. No
filter. No malice. Here's a collection of short stories I wrote a
long time ago when I first realised I wanted to be a writer. Never
underestimate the power of dreams!
63 collectable cards from Magic The Gathering(c) split into nine
groups of seven cards. Nine short stories in which characters
resemble those from traditional fairy tales and at the same time
are different from the literature known to us. Nine short stories
created and inspired by the same writer.Could a collection of fairy
tales hide a form or a pre-planned order? To what extent the
irrational emotions of human creativity become a clear and
symmetrical structure? The reading of The Castle of Crossed
Destinies (1973) by Italo Calvino was my first introduction to
combinatorial writing and its structured approach across
literature. This book is my first attempt to put the theory in
practice and it is my first collection of short stories.

When a note about the French writer Arthur De Gobineau lands on
Daniel's desk, he does not realise it will be the start of a long
and perilous journey that will take him from Europe to the Middle
East in search of the birthplace of human civilisation. With the
help of his travelling companions, Daniel will have to fight a
merciless enemy on the same search as his. A faceless enemy whose
evil power could soon expand beyond every one's imagination. "Arya"
is an adventure story about history, science and maybe even
religion. It is a story about the hidden power of an icon and how
its meaning has influenced mankind for longer than you think.
Tracing the tracks of masterpieces such as "1984 " by George Orwell
or "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley, "Memento Postridie" shows us
a possible future, so far away yet at the same time, so near. The
incidents Andrea Rossi, an ordinary citizen living in the Milan of
2073, finds himself involved in, are an example of how much our
love of progress can affect our everyday lives and the role the
individual plays within society. Andrea is a product of the
cultural environment he lives in, of a now globalised world in
which happiness and well-being are everything, but Andrea is not
completely convinced. Is this the kind of world man wants? Is this
the real solution to all our problems? When Andrea starts asking
himself these questions, he involuntarily brings up questions,
which will lead him into a limbo where every answer seems useless
and senseless.
futuro cosi lontano e allo stesso tempo cosi vicino.
sembra inutile e senza senso
letteratura combinatoria e all' approccio strutturalistico nella
letteratura.
Breton)
