"Justice at Nuremberg" traces the history of the Nuremberg Doctors'
Trial held in 1946-47, as seen through the eyes of the Austrian
bliogemigrblioge psychiatrist Leo Alexander. His investigations
helped the United States to prosecute twenty German doctors and
three administrators for war crimes and crimes against humanity.
The legacy of Nuremberg was profound. In the Nuremberg code--a
landmark in the history of modern medical ethics--the judges laid
down, for the first time, international guidelines for permissible
experiments on humans. One of those who helped to formulate the
code was Alexander. "Justice at Nuremberg" provides a detailed
insight into the origins of human rights in medical science and
into the changing role of international law, ethics and
politics.
This Festschrift in honor ofChristian Seidl combines a group of
prominent authors who are experts in areas like public economics,
welfare economic, decision theory, and experimental economics in a
unique volume. Christian Seidl who has edited together with
Salvador Barber a and Peter Hammond the Handbook of Utility Theory
(appearing at Kluwer Academic Publishers/Springer Economics), has
dedicated most of his research to utility and decision theory,
social choice theory, welfare economics, and public economics.
During the last decade, he has turned part of his attention to a
research tool that is increasingly gaining in importance in
economics: the laboratory experiment. This volume is an attempt to
illuminate all facets of Christian Seidl's ambitious research
agenda by presenting a collection of both theoretical and expe-
mental papers on Utility, Choice, andWelfare written by his closest
friends, former students, and much valued colleagues. Christian
Seidl was born on August 5, 1940, in Vienna, Austria. Beginning
Winter term 1962/63, he studied Economics and Business
Administration at the Vienna School of Economics (then "Hochschule
fff] ur ] Welthandel"). 1966 he was awarded an MBA by the Vienna
School of Economics and 1969 a doctoral degree in Economics. In
October 1968 Christian became a research assistant at the Institute
of Economics at the University of Vienna. 1973 he acquired his
habilitation (right to teach) in Economics - supervised by Wilhelm
Weber - from the Department of Law and Economics of the University

For many years, the operative manipulation of the most minute
struc- tures was frustrated by the limitations of the human eye.
With the introduction of the operating microscope by Nylen (1921),
fine detailed anatomy was made visible, so that structures could be
prepared, pre- sented and manipulated. Nylen used the microscope
for treating dis- eases of the middle ear. In 1946 Perrit in the U.
S. A. introduced the operating microscope into the field of
ophthalmic surgery. In 1964, Smith, Kunze and Mitchen published
reports on their clinical experi- ence using the operating
microscope in nerve surgery. Using this tech- nique, it was
possible to divide a peripheral nerve into individual fascicle
bundles and reapir each bundle precisely. Following on from these
developments, the term" microsurgery" was introduced to cover that
branch of surgery which was carried out using the" equiped" eye -
either by using 10upe spectacle magnifica- tion or, more commonly,
the operating microscope. The term "micro- vascular surgery"
developed for the operative treatment of small ves- sels below 2 mm
in diameter. Experimental studies for the use of microsurgery in
the clinical situation developed alongside its use on small
research animals for transplantation models in immunological study.
Microsurgical techniques were used in the transplantation of rat
liver, kidneys, pancreas, heart and other organs. The clinical
appli- cation of these microsurgical techniques is nowadays called
"recon- structive microvascular surgery".

Das Buch gibt einen Aoeberblick A1/4ber die unterschiedlichen
Preisbildungsstrategien der VergleichslAnder Deutschland,
Frankreich, Italien, Schweiz, Niederlande, Spanien, GroAbritannien,
Australien, Kanada, USA und Japan. Insbesondere werden frei
verkAufliche und verschreibungspflichtige Arzneimittel fA1/4r den
internationalen Vergleich genutzt, da beide Typen A1/4ber die
Distributionsstufen hinweg unterschiedlichen
PreisbildungseinflA1/4ssen unterliegen.

This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-conference
proceedings of the fourth International ICST Conference on Security
and Privacy in Mobile Information and Communication Systems
(MOBISEC 2012) held in Frankfurt/Main, Germany, in June 2012. The
13 revised full papers were carefully selected from numerous
submissions and cover the application layer of security,
highlighting the practical importance of security of mobile devices
in concrete usages. Contributions to MobiSec 2012 range from
treatments on user privacy issues, over mobile application and app
security, to mobile identity management, and NFC. With the
orientation toward applications, MobiSec is a perfect interface
between academia and industry in the field of mobile
communications.
Atmungsgymnastik, Inhalationstherapie und Atmungskontrolle sind
wesentliche therapeutische bzw. diagnostische Massnahmen.
Erfolge atmungsgymnasti- scher bzw. atemtherapeutischer Massnahmen
