Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not
used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad
quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are
images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to
keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the
original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain
imperfections with these old texts, we feel they deserve to be made
available for future generations to enjoy.
This report presents data on income, poverty, and health insurance
coverage in the United States based on information collected in the
2013 and earlier Current Population Survey Annual Social and
Economic Supplements (CPS ASEC) conducted by the U.S. Census
Bureau. Summary of findings: Real median household income in 2012
was not statistically different from the 2011 median income. The
poverty rate in 2012 was not statistically different from 2011. The
percentage of people without health insurance decreased between
2011 and 2012, while the number of uninsured in 2012 was not
statistically different from 2011.
