Idris Elba and Nadine Marshall star in this directorial debut from Debbie Tucker Green. Mark and Jax (Elba and Marshall) struggle to make ends meet as they live their day-to-day lives in suburban London, but they make do with what they have and enjoy family life with their son JJ (Kai Francis Lewis). When Jax finds out she is pregnant, their lack of sex life leads Mark to believe his wife has been unfaithful. Jax is adamant that she has not been with anyone else and resolves to their situation being described as an immaculate conception.

Hong Khaou directs this drama starring Pei-pei Cheng and Ben Whishaw. While living in London, Cambodian-Chinese woman Junn (Cheng)'s son tragically dies. Finding it difficult to convey her grief to others without speaking any English, Junn finds comfort in a kind stranger as they discover they have more in common than they could ever have imagined.
