A Jewish woman has been having unnatural thoughts about the
softness of another woman's skin. A feminist arranges to meet her
online troll. A woman worries, under her duvet, whether she should
sit content in a marriage that has turned comfortable...that is,
until she falls in love with a tree... Short stories of midnight
musings, of women itching to be heard and of delightful insanities.
Tourism has long been considered a source of social inequality, and
as the industry continues to expand rapidly there is an increasing
need for a better understanding of its consequences. Providing a
synthesis of tourism as a source of injustice, Tourism and
Inequality addresses a wide range of interrelated forms of
inequality, investigating its association with class, nation,
ethnicity, race, gender, disability and age. Chapters examine
routes towards social justice and initiatives that aim to advance
poverty alleviation, fair trade, ethics and human rights. The
analysis of a wide variety of case studies from around the world
allows an exploration into the ways that tourism can be used
positively to alleviate the impacts of social injustice. Providing
a unique multidisciplinary perspective, the authors aim to lead the
way towards a more socially responsible future for tourism
practise.

This is Book III of The Banshee's Embrace Trilogy
Toby Williams is a wizard with a problem. He is very much in love
with half banshee, Jacqueline Huston. Though she exists in the
realm of the living, as a banshee she is also able to see death-
and help those who have died to cross over to the other side. But
something inside her has snapped. Anger and revenge is all she
feels now. Jacqueline is hell-bent on revenge to the Brotherhood of
Merlyn wizard's for their past atrocities and their current
attempts to kill her love, Toby; especially their ancient and
powerful leader, Gwydion. One by one she tracks them down and
destroys them. Jacqueline's power grows with each wizard she reaps
while Death's voice taunts her from within. By pursuing a path of
revenge Jacqueline isn't doing her job as a banshee, leaving those
who have died unable to cross over and throwing off the balance of
nature- with dire consequences.
Toby is at a loss how to save her, and the world. His answer comes
in the form of Morrigan, a powerful Celtic goddess. Morrigan has a
plan to help Toby save Jacqueline and regain her humanity, but at
great risk.
Even the best laid plans can go astray, especially when evil
Gwydion enlists the help from a god of the underworld.
Will Jacqueline be saved? Does she have any chance at regaining
her humanity? Can Toby and Morrigan overcome a powerful wizard and
a god of the underworld? Find out now in the exciting conclusion of
The Banshee's Embrace Trilogy.
This is Book II of The Banshee's Embrace Trilogy
Half banshee Jacqueline Huston is confused. With the Brotherhood
of Merlyn looking for her, the specter of Death wanting her soul,
and having to live with the knowledge that her wizard boyfriend's
son killed her husband, sometimes life feels a little chaotic. Then
the Brotherhood kidnaps the love of her life, Toby Williams, in an
attempt to convince her to join their crusade for power over other
supernatural beings.
In this book II, Jacqueline comes to grips with her enormous
powers--capable of reaping any soul, a temptation she must avoid at
all costs. But will she be able to control her powers, or will she
use them and risk losing everything in order to save the one she
loves?
Jacqueline Huston has no idea what has been happening to her, but
it started the night she was attacked by men with strange powers.
While mortally wounded in the attack, Jacqueline knows she would
have surely died if her husband hadn't thrown himself into the line
of fire. But being alive is little comfort when your husband is
dead.
Ever since that night, Jacqueline has been strangely drawn to
death for reasons she doesn't understand. When death is nearby, she
can see when it's coming for someone. However, it's her urge to
sing when she gets close to dying people that she finds most
disturbing.
Toby Williams is a wizard and a member of the Brotherhood of
Merlyn, an ancient order of powerful wizards. He's been charged by
the Brotherhood to keep an eye on Jacqueline. Half banshees are
rare, and if placed in the wrong hands they can be a powerful
weapon. As owner of Merlyn's Bar, a place the lovely Ms. Huston
frequents, it seems an easy enough assignment for Toby.
When a sinister wizard attempts to kidnap her, Jacqueline learns a
frightening truth about her heritage, and her powers. Will she be
able to use her powers to save Toby, the man she is falling in love
with, or will her powers consumer her, causing her to lose
everything she holds dear?
Elizabeth knows what adventure is about or at least she would if
her memory would ever come back to her. She's been told that two
years ago she was chased by a greedy thug, Diego Martes, who
believed she knew the location to a pirate treasure cursed by
voodoo and hidden deep in the sultry bayous of Louisiana. During
the process of escaping, Elizabeth's lover and assassin for hire,
Juan Carlos Montoya, drowned trying to save her. Though she now
lives in a government arranged marriage to a cop in the small town
of Barataria Bay, Elizabeth is still trying to remember the past,
remember the danger, and most of all remember Juan Carlos, the dead
Latino dreamboat who dragged her into the mess in the first place.
When Elizabeth's idyllic new life is interrupted by a ghostly
visit from a still sexy Juan, she finds herself once again plunged
into unwanted intrigue. With his help, her memory of the past
begins to come back, along with her memories of their nights of
passion. Together they must outwit an insane villain, Diego and go
back to where Jean Lafitte's cursed pirate treasure is hidden in
order to lift a deadly voodoo curse that threatens to end their
love forever.
