1926. The Hulsean lectures at Cambridge 1925-1926. This short course of lectures must be taken for what it is, a plea for the recognition of a third type of Christian thought and belief, by the side of the two great types which are usually called Catholic and Protestant. It is as the religion of the Spirit that Inge pleads the cause of what he calls the Platonic tradition.

1924. The Paddock Lectures of 1906 Delivered at the General Seminary New York. Our Knowledge of God; Sources and Growth of the Logos-Christology; Development and Permanent Value of the Logos-Christology; The Problem of Personality; Thought and Will; The Problem of Sin.
1922. The present volume contains nothing very daring or unconventional. The greater part of the book consists of previously unpublished matter. "Confessio Fidei" is an attempt to put in order what Mr. Inge actually believes, and to explain why he believes it. He supposes he will be classified as belonging to the right wing of theological liberalism, but he prefers to call himself a Christian Platonist, and to claim a humble place in the long chain of Christian thinkers whose philosophy is based on the Platonic tradition. Contents: the state, visible and invisible; theocracies; Greek city state; medieval ideal; modern God-state; religion and the state; idea of progress; Victorian age; white man and his rivals; dilemma of civilization; eugenics.
